 Mr. Moon Khan (1988-1992) | BJUS tried to create an oasis of reminiscences for Biharis living in the USA at a time when the Internet was not born, cable TV channels didn’t spring up, and desi foods were not as ubiquitous as today. Thanks to the founding members of the association and their family members who provided us a cultural platform, three times a year, to consolidate our heritage. Shat shat naman to all the founding members that included Dr. Binay Kumar Sinha, Dr. S.P. Singh, Dr. Zia Usman, Mr. Manoranjan Mishra, Mr. Firoz Irfan, Mr. Manohar Lal, Mr. Ahmad Moid, Mr. Ajit Chowdhry, Dr. Upendra Sinha, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Dwivedi, and many more unsung heroes. However, subsequent presidents and executive members also played a pivotal role in enriching BJUS until today. |

 Mr. Pankaj Kumar Singh (2019-2022) | BJUS is Bihar so far away from Bihar. Never had I ever imagined till 2016 that I will meet so many people from Bihar and Jharkhand at one platform in Chicago. It gave me pleasure to participate in Chhath puja, opportunity to make and eat world famous Bihari Litti-Chokha. Asking for anything else would have been injustice but I got much more. Today, most of the friends I have are because of BJUS. It’s not just an association it’s family for me. BJUS hai to bahar hai ..!!! |
 Mr. Vinay Kumar (2022-2024) | At first, It was a tough pill for me to accept the torch bearer position for BJUS and I know it won’t be easy. But people from every corner is supporting me to keep the heritage alive. I am thankful to my team and all of you. Being part of BJUS is like being with my extended family in the USA. |
